About me:
Aujenae Klida was born and raised in Silver City, NM. Her passion and care for babies led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education with a focus on birth through age four from Western New Mexico University. Led by her desire to expand her care for mothers and their babies, she continued her schooling through WNMU and completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Aujenae spent the next five years living her passion, caring for mothers and their babies as a Labor and Delivery/Postpartum Nurse at Gila Regional Medical Center. During that time, she felt a calling to become a midwife. She returned to school and completed a Master of Science in Midwifery through Texas Tech University. Her training included providing care in both in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings for labor and postpartum care.
Aujenae is a Certified Nurse Midwife who specializes in Obstetrics, Gynecology, women’s health, and newborn care. She is trained in the Spinning Babies® method, which she implements during labor care. She also offers breastfeeding support.
Outside of the office and delivery room, Aujenae enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and extended family. She enjoys coffee and relaxing on the beach when she gets the chance.
